Andre worked at CAIDA as a senior researcher from August 1999 to August 2005. Andre's major research interest includes Mathematics, data and signal processing.
Background
During his time at CAIDA, Andre worked on traffic, routing, topology, RTT and DNS analysis. Prior to joining CAIDA he worked in computer visualization, geology, geochemistry, seismic tomography, linguistics, and taught mathematics in several countries. He co-authored two books and a number of papers on computational seismology, algebra, complexity theory and Internet data analysis.
In August 2005, Broido left CAIDA to join Google as an engineer.
