Staff Profile - Dmitri (Dima) Krioukov
Dima is on the research staff at CAIDA, is a chair for IRTF's RR-FS working group and leads the NeTS-NR project at CAIDA. His interests include networking, routing, graph theory applications, Internet topology and evolution, complex systems, and quantum computing.

Background

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1969, Dima graduated from St. Petersburg State University with Diploma with Honors in 1993. In 1998 he received his Ph.D. in Physics from Old Dominion University and took his first job in the networking industry with Dimension Enterprises. After its acquisition, Dima accepted a chief scientist position with Nortel Networks. Between April 2002 and January 2004, he became engaged in independent research, and since February 2004, has joined CAIDA. In January 2014, Dima left CAIDA to accept an Associate Professor position at Northeastern University in Boston.
