Paul served as the data administrator at CAIDA from 2009 to 2020. His tasks included collection,
maintenance and distribution of internet data.

Background
Paul joined CAIDA in March 2009. He received his Ph.D. in Astronomy in 1988 at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. He arrived at UCSD in April 1989, and except for a one-year stint in Greenbelt, MD, has called San Diego home ever since. Paul is a research physicist by training, computer geek by choice, and cat lover by necessity. Paul retired from service in 2020.
