Ramakrishna (Rama) Padmanabhan has been a Postdoctoral Scholar with CAIDA since January 2019. He performs research on methodologies to detect Internet connectivity outages, in near realtime, through active and passive measurements.

Background
Prior to joining CAIDA as a postdoc, Rama obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland in December 2018. He worked with Dr. Neil Spring to measure residential Internet connectivity using active probes. Rama previously interned at CAIDA in the summers of 2015 and 2018.
