This report summarizes the NDN project team's fourth year of research achievements supported by FIA supplemental funding. Chapter 1 reviews the NDN architectural model. Chapter 2 gives an overview of the NDN project objectives and the milestones achieved in our fourth year effort. Chapter 3 describes activities and findings in our five main research areas. Chapter 4 details one of our major achievement in 2014, the design of a new NDN packet format and the development of a new NDN Forwarding Daemon (NFD). areas.
