These are the files used to create the Cache daily page at
http://www.nlanr.net/Cache/daily.

They are *extremely* brittle and break at the slightest provocation.
They're also obviously very site-specific. This setup is weirder
than most others, since we have our archived data on a DEC Alpha
but need to make our snapshots on the SGI. There's somewhat high
security, thus everything is ssh and scp instead of sh and cp.
If you're all on one machine this is a *lot* easier to deal with...

We're making 3 different pictures from 2 different data files. The
asia picture uses the same data as the main (cache) picture, just a
different camera position. The europe 3D data file is built with
thresholded arcs. The files *.snap.gv have all the setup information
for Geomview to make the picture look the way you want. Obviously you
can change the camera position, colors, linewidths, appearances, etc.
The "dice" command controls the subdivision level of the globe, 10
usually looks fine if it's smooth shaded (recommended!).

Oceana is the DEC, kasina is the SGI.
