Polly Huang is a Ph. D. candidate in the Computer Science Department at the University of Southern California and a research assistant at AT&T Labs Research. Previously, she was involved in the Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) project.

Currently, she works as a research assistant for the Virtual InterNetwork Testbed (VINT) project under the supervision of Dr. Deborah Estrin and John Heidemann. She has also been collaborating with with Dr. Anja Feldmann, Anna Gilbert, and Walter Willinger of AT&T Labs-Research on the causality study of Internet mechanisms and traffic dynamics. Her research interests include multicast protocol design, data traffic characterization, and scalable network simulation.
